What an awesome day we had today! We started the day by heading to a Spanish speaking church. It met in a holiday so it was portable like Discovery. That was pretty cool! We had McDonald’s for lunch, then headed to the YWAM base where Jon and Danielle Snyder from Discovery are working. We got the opportunity to do some work for the YWAM team and they were greatful to the point of tears. The girls get the Painting MVP as they completely transformed the outside of the YWAM building with a few coats of paint. They did an awesome job and made it look great! Ingar got the Demo MVP as he was ripping everything he needed to tear down to shreds…the dude’s a beast! Tom Bice gets the nerd MVP for figuring out how to do everything and I get the MVP for supervising :). Seriously, we had a great first day. We ended it with a Pollo Compero dinner and then came back to the mission house to sort clothes. It was great to get to spend the day with Jon and Danielle Snyder and their kids Tori and Ian. It was great to hear about the work they are doing down here. We appreciate all the support, prayers, and facebook messages.
